About Us

We are a small independent family run store, specialising in handpicked gifts, some fairtrade, some handmade in Scotland, ethically & sustainably made homeware & we source houseplants in peat free compost.

Owned by Grant and Sam, you will find the rest of the family, Maddie and Finlay around about too, occasionally. Our children have grown up in the shop, working (and playing!) and see it as a second home, favourably, fortunately! There is a new young rescue dog in the family, Arial the puggle. She is a little wild at the moment though!

Fair Tradewinds has been trading for over 10 years now, Calluna, was opened in 2017 in Stirling. Grant could be found in Calluna and Sam in Fair Tradewinds.

We made the difficult decision to close Calluna in Stirling, August this year, '24. Although heart breaking it means we have time to explore our creative sides. We met at art college and have been wanting to spend more time on our other interests.
