Nettle has been shown to have health benefits for the skin, such as moisturising and reducing inflammation. It helps with skin allergies including eczema. With a silicium and magnesium content it also has beneficial anti aging properties. 

As a sufferer of eczema, I have found, this is the best nettle soap I have ever used for my skin. It has an impact even after one day.
